Mission
Aortic dissection is where the aortic wall is damaged and the layers are separated from each other. In the initial phase you may experience severe sudden onset chest and back pain. If you feel any of these symptoms please present urgently to an emergency department.
After the initial in hospital management of your condition you will likley require ongoing blood pressure management and potentially other treatment options.
If you have previoulsy been diagnosed with an aortic dissection and would like us to help with the ongoing management of the condition then we can help in one of our outpatient clinics.
