Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

A blood clot found in the deep vein of the leg.

Mission

After a DVT, some people develop long-term symptoms like persistent leg swelling, aching or heaviness, skin thickening, and in severe cases, ulcers near the ankle – a condition called post-thrombotic syndrome.

At the Nottingham Vascular Clinic, we provide expert care to manage post-DVT symptoms and prevent further complications.
